Grade: CG-Ti526

Bis(ethyl acetoacetato)(1,3-propanediolato-2-)titanium

CG-Ti526 is a titanate chelate that reacts with functional groups such as R-OH, M-OH, and R-COOH in polymers, inorganic substances, and metals at low temperatures. It functions as a polymer crosslinking agent, coating, and adhesion promoter. It is particularly suitable for use as a curing agent in moisture-curing silicone resins. Heating above 60°C promotes the reaction.

Packaging and Storage

This product can be packaged in 25 kg plastic drums, 200 kg plastic drums, or steel drums. Other package sizes are available upon request. Store in a cool, well-ventilated, dry place in tightly sealed containers, protected from light. Keep away from moisture and sources of ignition. Ensure the lid is tightly sealed and effectively isolates the product from air; moisture in the air can react quickly, thereby leading to hydrolysis and polymerization. Shelf life in the original unopened packaging is one year. This product is irritating to skin and eyes. If it contacts skin, wash with soap. If it contacts eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

Application

  • CG-Ti526 reacts with functional groups such as R-OH, M-OH, and R-COOH in polymers, inorganic substances, and metals at low temperatures, functioning as a polymer crosslinking agent, coating, and adhesion promoter.

  • CG-Ti526 serves as a curing agent in moisture-curing silicone resins, where the reaction is promoted by heating above 60°C.

  • CG-Ti526 acts as a catalyst for transesterification, esterification, addition, polymerization, alkylation with silicon, and other reactions.
