Grade:CG-540
3-trimethoxysilylpropan-1-amine
CG-540 (3-trimethoxysilylpropan-1-amine) has methoxy groups that hydrolyze to form Si-OH, releasing methanol. The hydrolysis rate is faster than that of CG-550 (3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane), followed by condensation with hydroxyl groups on inorganic material surfaces to form Si-O-M bonds. The reactive amino group (-NH2) can react with various organic functional groups such as carboxylic acids, phenolic resins, polyesters, and epoxies.
